With a strong background in the arts, creativity and openness are my hallmarks for seeking to be a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I attend the Townsend Institute of Leadership and Counseling, a CACREP accredited program that emphasizes vital clinical training and technology proficiency. I am currently exploring attachment theory and psychodynamic therapy while enhancing my knowledge through marriage and family counseling, trauma-informed practice, and addictions. I have also completed Gottman Levels 1 and 2 training. I am currently training in Dr. Sue Johnson's EFT: Attachment-Based Interventions for Couple's in Crisis, and Phase 1 of Brainspotting. In January of 2021, I will start the AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) Immersion Course.

I am passionate about working with adult trauma survivors, couples, women's issues, anxieties of the age, depression, boundaries, shame, and interest in pursuing additional certifications in these areas. I have been active in religious communities and love to help clients integrate their spirituality and life goals. Additionally, I have experience with virtual platforms that allow me to competently seek internship sites that provide in-person or virtual counseling to clients.
